THE FIRE INDUSTRY REPAIR & MAINTENANCE INC.

(“The F.I.R.M.”)

has been in business for 42 years. In 1982, Calgary firefighter Jonathan Fesik

opened the doors to a cleaning and repair facility specializing in developing

and supporting care and maintenance programs for structural and industrial

firefighting applications. After 8 years of service, the company was incorporated

as The Fire Industry Repair & Maintenance (“The F.I.R.M.”) in 1990.

He then expanded the scope of services to include a state-of-the-art facility

specializing in personal protective gear. This new facility is equipped to inspect,

clean, store and repair personal safety gear for structural, wildland, industrial and

aviation firefighting applications. The F.I.R.M. has employed advanced technology

to provide accurate tracking for all safety equipment and inventory management

that fully complies with NFPA 1851 tracking requirements.

All cleaning, repair, alterations and maintenance performed by The F.I.R.M.

meets all current standards established by NFPA 1851 2020 edition.
